Getting its name from Humble oil which is now widely known as ExxonMobil. Its motto remains, “Where people make a difference,” and that shows with it’s the small but humble population of 15,000 residents.

Things to do in Humble

While there are a lot of things to do in the area it’s also a short drive to Houston for all the major sports games, theater, restaurants you can handle. Go Stros!! There’s also an annual PGA Tour, The Houston Open that rocks the town every year in the Fall, usually October. This event brings hundreds of people together to enjoy a national golf experience from around Texas and the Country. 

Another fun fact about Humble is that it is home to The DeLorean Motor Company, the last private Factory to manufacture the DeLorean made famous by Back to the Future.
