Kingwood: We’ve Got You Covered!

Faced with anxiety and boredom with the onslaught of Covid and stay at home orders, 13 year old Izzy dug deep into her creative side and desire to help her Kingwood community with Maskers of Disaster. Her incoming orders was so great that she enlisted the help of neighbor Crystal Crawford to help sew. This led to an order fulfillment of 100 masks a day, way more than what Izzy and Crystal could do alone! With the help of mom Larissa, Izzy set out to find a vendor to assist in her business and with that, they were able to mask up more people in their community and beyond! They love their community so much that they were able to supply all of the Kingwood school staff with a face mask.

You’re able to find Maskers of Disaster on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/Maskersofdisaster/, and place your orders for quality masks, with a huge assortment to match any look. The business always has a mask ready to go, and at only $3 each, with 17 different colors, they are not only breathable, but they are backed with nano silver lining and waterproof. With a year into the business, Izzy is not only giving back to her community and helping keep them safe, but she’s learning pivotal lessons in entrepreneurship. We can’t wait to see where it takes her!
